There are a LOT of people who hate Facebook ads, and I understand because it’s super easy to get very poor results from them. Facebook has the ability to deliver solid results, but there are a few things that keep most people back from success, including that they are a different animal from Google AdWords, and need to be treated as such and that they need a lot more time and attention.

In the slideshare below from AdEspresso, you’re learn (among many other things) that success with Facebook ads is achieved by:

  • Making sure images are large and eye-catching
  • Creating buyer personas that feature different benefits
  • Finding the best place for your ads: the news feed, the right-hand column or the mobile news feed
