Google has announced on the AdWords blog that Jerry Dischler, VP, Product Management, is going host a live-streaming event that will cover new features coming to AdWords.

On May 5, 2015 at 9:30am PT / 12:30pm ET, I will be hosting a livestream to share these new products with you. You can watch the 45-minute event live, right here on the Inside AdWords blog.

The announcement continues on in the general tone of these things, which is that watching the new announcement will give you insights into the future, growing your customer base and learning to successfully herd cats. (It’s honestly impressively vague.)

Improved Multiple Campaign Reporting

Apparently, the first of the new tools and features is going to be easier reporting for multiple campaign types.

According to Google, the new system will allow you to:

  • Filter your account by campaign type
  • See more relevant columns more quickly
  • Apply column sets based on your advertising goals

Google will now let you select from a drop down of campaign types, Search, Display or Shopping Network, and choose to view reports from them. Your column selections will also be saved to each campaign type, so you don’t have to keep changing them back and forth as you switch between them.

Finally, you will now have the option to save column sets so that you can change them around depending on your advertising goals. For example, if you have a campaign that is focused on sales and another that is focused on newsletter sign ups, you can load different columns depending on what you’re looking for.
